The Town of Orangeville is requesting sealed bids for: Insulation and Steel for interior of Storage Building [54’W x 60’L x 18’H]
- Insulation: A minimum of R-19 in the side walls * A Minimum of R-38 in the ceiling * [Prior to insulating- Tyvek type product to be placed in the side walls, against interior of exterior steel. Felt should be underneath the interior steel.] * Ceiling – should be a felt type product under the steel to hold insulation in place, in the event that a steel panel needs to be removed. * Ventilation baffle for soffits, some type of ridge vent or gable vents for adequate ventilation. *
- Steel: Steel to be at least of 45-year quality, a minimum of 29 Gauge - Outside light panels to be removed and replaced with steel, approximately five (5) foot of steel. [color to be determined] * Inside steel to be white – Proper trim to complete building
- Studding: Studding to be every two (2) feet with 2 x 6 * Frame in access panel in ceiling * Will need two (2) framed in spaces for exhaust ventilation fan. One space will house a fan with louvers, other space will have a motorized louver panel, approximate four (4) foot openings.

Bidders may contact the Highway Superintendent at 585-786-2155 for questions or further information. All bids must be received no later than 3pm on Thursday September 12, 2024 at the Town Clerk’s office or Highway Office at the Town Hall, 3529 Route 20A, Warsaw, NY. Bids must be in sealed envelopes marked “sealed bids for Installation and Steel for building. Bids will be opened on September 12, 2024 at 7:30pm during the regularly schedule Town Board meeting. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The Town Clerk will notify all bidders by letter of acceptance or rejection of bid. By order of the Town Board.
